July small business sales tick up on higher spend per transaction.

TThe ²ÝÝ®ÊÓƵ Small Business Index increased 1 point from Q1 to 149 in Q2.

Highlights:

• Overall sales grew +3.6% YoY and also gained +1.0% MoM
• Foot traffic grew at a slower pace YoY (+3.0%), and was flat compared to June (+0.1%)
• Consumers spent less on Restaurants (-0.9% MoM), more at Retail (+1.1%)
